Abstract


One Tools used by persons with disabilities is an electric wheelchair. DC motor is a
component that plays a major role in moving Electric wheel chair. DC Motor Speed
setting is a Difficulty setting when Wheelchairs Weighed.

Researchers designed the motor drivers who are an important part in the regulation of
DC motor motion. Researchers chose H Bridge MOSFET (Metal Oxide
SemiconductorField Effect Transistor)type circuits. To perform motion control motors
using Pulse Width Modulation (PWM). With this method the motor movement becomes
more manageable when applied to a wheelchair.

Research by the PWM method, generating PWM With OCR 300 with sensitivity 87%,
OCR 600 with sensitivity 92%, OCR 850 with sensitivity of 95% and OCR 1000 with
sensitivity 88% . PWM with 12 V voltage, frequency 121,7Hz and OCR 850 according
to the researchers the most appropriate wheelchair used for loads up to 80 kilograms.
