Activity of Curcumin Immunomodulator to the Infected Mice Wound by Staphylococcus aureus

Abstract


This purpose is to know the immunomodulator curcuma domestica infusa activity to mice wound that is
infected by Staphylococcus aureus, as effort to get the supplement candidate for body immune system.
The wound recovery is a complex process because of several bio-cellular activity, bio-chemical happen
continuosely. Vascular respon combination, cellular activity and deform of chemical materials as
mediator substance in wound area is connected component to the wound recovery process. This is true
experiment that use trial animal male Mus musculus Balb/C, 12 week old, BB 25-35gram, 25% Curcuma
domestica infusa, and Staphylococcus aureus that is same with McFarland 0,5. And than it is devided into
4 group, which each group is consist of 6 mice. Group one without being given curcuma and bacteria as
control. Group two is being given curcuma for 3 day and bacteria. Group three is being given curcuma for
7 day and bacteria. Group four is being given curcuma for 14 day and bacteria. After being given the step
like that to each group, every mice is made cut into 10mm and its thickness 1mm of wound to the back
and it is infected with bacteria, and then it is searched for long time. The data is analized by using Anova
one way with significant 5%. The result is Ho is refused and Hi is accepted because p=0,008 is smaller
than α=0,05. It can be concluded that activity of immunomodulator curcuma 25% infuse is optimal to the
giving many times for 14 hari to give the faster recovery result to the trial animal.
