Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) in Indonesia by Indonesia Health Profile 2012 reached 34/1000 live births,
far from the target of reducing infant mortality by the Ministry of Health (MOH) is 23/1000 births
hidup.Capaian exclusive breastfeeding in Indonesia have not reached the expected namely by 80%.
Based on the 2012 Demographic and Health Survey reports the achievement of exclusive breastfeeding
was 42%. Meanwhile, according to the provincial health department report in 2013 coverage
breastfeeding 0-6 months is only 54.3%. For the midwife to support exclusive breastfeeding is very
important not only for babies but also for nursing mothers. Breastfeeding support and will affect
behavior in breastfeeding because of the support are factors that affect the health of the actions of
individuals, groups or communities. In order to improve and promote public health, intervention or effort
devoted to behavioral factors is very strategic. Efforts so masyarakatberprilaku or adopt health behaviors
by way of persuasion, inducement, call, call, informing, raising awareness and forth through the socalled education or health promotion by health
personnel (Notoatmodjo 2010) COMBI (Communication for Behavioral
Impact) or Communications Changes Behavior (KPP) is a series of activities through effective communication approach that aims to mobilize
all of society or personal influence to encourage the action of individual,
family or community achieve certain goals  (WHO,2009). Support Midwives
in increasing exclusive breastfeeding is to implement the ten Steps to Successful Breastfeeding, where ten  Steps to   Successful Breastfeeding
can be implemented in the method with 10 steps COMBI or Behavior Change Communication
